Via Carpatia EGTC has been actively operating in the Slovak\u2013Hungarian border region since
\n2013 and has implemented numerous successful projects, both regionally and internationally.
\nOver the past 12 years, it has participated in consortia worth 40 million euros, with its own
\nprojects implemented at a value of 20 million euros, creating over 1,100 workplaces and
\ncollaborating with more than 700 partners. In terms of staff size, it is one of the largest
\nEGTCs.<\/p>\n
Education and the acquisition of new knowledge have always been central to the organization.
\nIn a constantly changing world, it is essential that both employees and the people living in the
\nregion continue to develop while preserving and nurturing core values.<\/p>\n
The \u201cEducated Region, Brighter Future\u201d project aims to engage stakeholders in rural and
\nregional development \u2013 including local governments, entrepreneurs, civil society
\norganizations, and community initiatives \u2013 and provide them with training and development
\nprograms to strengthen the region\u2019s socio-economic growth and collaborative networks.<\/p>\n
Within the project, we will organize training days and develop related educational materials,
\nwith each day focusing on a specific topic in regional development. Participants will gain both
\ntheoretical knowledge and practical examples to successfully implement local development
\ninitiatives. Each training day will involve at least 20 participants, reaching approximately 160
\nindividuals by the end of the project.<\/p>\n
