Educated region, brighter future – New project starting in 2026

In 2026, we will start a new project with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, titled “ Educated region, brighter future” The aim of the project is to contribute to the development of rural areas, with a special focus on Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County.

Within the framework of the program, we aim to reach and involve mayors, entrepreneurs, and other local stakeholders from BAZ County. We will organize educational sessions where practical knowledge and useful information will be shared across eight main thematic areas: local traditions, regional and rural development, community culture, climate change, local heritage registers, circular economy, funding opportunities in the Slovak–Hungarian border region, and funding opportunities from structural funds.

The goal of the “ Educated region, brighter future” project is to strengthen local communities, support cooperation, and help participants better navigate development and funding opportunities. We believe that the program will provide a new perspective, fresh ideas, and practical support for stakeholders in the region.
