Build and promote local image

The leading partner of the project is the subsidiary of the EGTC Via Carpatia – Jövő Útja Nonprofit Kft., the partner is the University of Economics in Bratislava. The main goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness of local products and producers in the Cserehát microregion. The main activities of the project include the development of a marketing strategy, the creation of a local brand, the creation of a database of local producers, the organization of agricultural events and the organization of an agricultural EXPO.

From this project, 5 agrofestivals were realized in the summer of 2021 at five markets, which were built from the Meet the local needs project. At these events, the local population had the opportunity to sell or buy local products at the markets, while we provided a cultural program for the whole family. The purpose of the events was to promote newly built markets and support local production. The web platform designed with a database of local producers should be completed in the spring of 2022, when we plan to organize an agricultural EXPO in Gagyvendég.
