YES – Young Europeans are in Solidarity

The leading partner of the project is the subsidiary of Via Carpatia EGTC – Jövő Útja Nonprofit Kft. Working with young people is an important area that Europe is paying more and more attention to. The goal of the partners was to share knowledge and collaborate on the project. The cooperation is expected to gain the strengthening of solidarity that enables to share „know-how” and strategies for mutual enrichment. Another goal of the project is the integration of disadvantaged communities into society. The project and project activities affect 340 EU residents directly and 40,000 EU residents indirectly.

Project goals:

  • support of social work and work with young people with the aim of reducing unemployment, as well as the social integration of disadvantaged young people into society,
  • support the exchange of views on the importance of solidarity during a crisis,
  • support the sharing of “know-how” and knowledge,
  • description of EU policies,
  • summarizing opinions and proposals on problems and processes related to solidarity to create strategies at the local and national level,
  • support of volunteering,
  • supporting the creation of capacities for disadvantaged young people,
  • facilitating the future cooperation of partners.
